German companies keen to recruit new employees in July: report
Several German companies plan to recruit more employees in July, as per a report of the IFO research institute. As per it, the Munich Society for the Promotion of Economic Research employment barometer index was at 104.1 points in July, which is similar to level in June.
The Manufacturing sector had a decrease in employment expectations, but trade, service and construction had an increase. The welcome development is that the present trend of a good show in the German employment scene shows no signs of a downturn.
The compilation of the Munich Society for the Promotion of Economic Research Employment Barometer is made on the monthly responses of 9,500 businesses. These businesses engage in trade and the service, manufacturing, as well as construction sectors. The companies taking the survey reply regarding their future employment plans for three months.
