A proposed Warehouse Park in Leicester has a plan to Create 2,000 new jobs

Developers are keen to have a building on 80 acre Greenfield site between St John’s, and the Enderby Park off the B4114.

The plan suggests that Enderby Logistics Hub will have four large warehouses and also employ 1,500 professionals.  It will also support many additional jobs in local areas. On receiving the planning permission, 125 more jobs would add in the construction phase. This is a major development in the region apart from a new residential estate in St John’s. Also, there will be a new headquarters and brewery of Everards, a beer hall, a cycling center, and a cafe.

A good location

In the neighboring areas there are warehouses at Leicester Commercial Park, and also there is a plan of extension in The Crown Estate to build a £135 million shopping center. The investors say that there will be a space of 1.15 million sq ft for warehousing and for the Logistics Training Centre. Furthermore, this will provide many opportunities for professionals aiming to pursue a career in the industry. It will also serve professionals presently working in the industry intending to improve their skills. The developers also stated that the line of the FW Roman road at the site will be retained in its future plans. Regarding the location, it is good and close to the national motorway as well as to the city areas. This will be of great service to the customers and offer the best opportunities.
